MADOKA's Mission Statement
Increase the number of people who work with a smile
Greetings
Over more than 20 years of management experience at foreign companies, I received appropriate recognition and was able to live comfortably. However, I felt a profound sense of discomfort living under the implicit message that “if you don't change, you'll die,” driven by Western-style coaching training and new management systems. ... Something just didn't feel right. Looking around at my colleagues, or at employees and managers at client companies, everyone seemed to be suffering. After discovering several methods that could resolve this suffering through a certain turning point, I resolved to help not only my former colleagues but a much broader range of people. This led me to establish MADOKA Inc. To help Japanese people work with vitality, I will contribute not only to Japanese subsidiaries of foreign companies but also to Japanese companies themselves.

Shogo Arita, CEO
Initially, I aimed to increase smiles among employees and managers by providing coaching and psychological counseling by myself and my employees. However, I realized that if executives and managers themselves mastered these techniques, employees would become more vibrant and ‘work would become enjoyable.’ Consequently, starting in 2025, I launched courses grounded in psychology and cognitive science. Furthermore, in the field of cognitive science, we've acquired tools to quantify individual tendencies. This allows us to more clearly identify which areas to develop. By understanding their own tendencies and planning their next five years, we've created a new, even more useful two-day training program for managers. Let's work together to realize a society where “smiles increase and work becomes enjoyable.”
